Terry Lemerond is president of EuroPharma, headquartered in Green Bay, WI. Terry is an icon in the natural products industry who has researched and developed more than 400 top-selling nutritional and botanical formulations and was the first to introduce to the U.S. market ginkgo biloba, glucosamine sulfate, IP6, black cohosh and botanical standardization. Health E-Insights: What’s the newest, freshest approach you’ve brought to EuroPharma? 
 
Mr. Lemerond: I don’t think I brought a new and fresh approach to EuroPharma because my philosophy has not changed in the last 30 years as to how I approach the business side of EuroPharma. The new and fresh of EuroPharma are the exciting new and scientifically-based nutritional formulas. 
 
Health E-Insights: What’s the most important decision you have had to make as a leader of your organization? 
 
Mr. Lemerond: The most important decision is the commitment to sell only the health food industry and professionals and not having an interest in food and drug mass marketing. 
 
Health E-Insights: As an industry pioneer, what is one mistake you witness industry business leaders making more frequently than others? 
 
Mr. Lemerond: Not committing to quality for fear that the price of a good quality product will price them out of the market. 
 
Health E-Insights: What significant trends do you see in the industry? 
 
Mr. Lemerond: A greater interest by consumers for quality products and an interest in assuming responsibility for their health rather than depending on physicians. 
 
Health E-Insights: Do you sing in the shower or your car? 
 
Mr. Lemerond: Absolutely not. 
 
Health E-Insights: If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? 
 
Mr. Lemerond: To grant health and longevity to everyone.
